GALA V APPROACHES- 4/30
Excitement is building toward the Norcross High School Foundation for Excellence Gala V, being held the evening of Friday, April 30, at the home of Aaron and Jan Lupuloff.

This fund-raising event will offer an evening of socializing, music by Terry Lee & the GTs, and food donated by J. Alexander's. At least three vacation getaways will be auctioned off, as will a spot in the Gwinnett Braves' June 6 Pre-Game Home Run Derby. The winner will have the opportunity to hit pitches thrown by Phil Niekro and Tom Glavine.

For the first time this year, credit cards will be accepted for purchases of "bricks" - donations made the night of the Gala for specific school resources.

The Foundation is still seeking "Challengers" to encourage ticket sales. If you accept a "Challenge," you agree to be responsible for $1,000 of tax-deductible donations to the Foundation. The Challenge may be fulfilled by either donating the money personally or selling the tickets or a combination. Individual Gala tickets are $50 apiece.

To learn more about purchasing tickets or being a Challenger, e-mail Jenifer Kinney at For more information about being a Challenger and the Foundation's activities, go to the school's Web site, nhsfoundation.onmycalendar.com
